When capturing keystrokes, every text entry is duplicated.

It sounds like the hook used by the program is running more than one instance on your computer. Try shutting down Keyboard Express (File | Terminate Keyboard Express). Start the program again and capture. This should fix the problem.

If you still have a problem, reboot the computer. This will clear it.
