By default, Keyboard Express 4 is installed into a different folder than Keyboard Express 3
 
Keyboard Express 4 will read .kex macro files created by Keyboard Express 3. However, when the file is opened by Keyboard Express 4, it will be converted to the new Keyboard Express 4 format, also a .kex file. Once converted, Keyboard Express 3 will no longer be able to open and read the macro file. Note: We recommend copying (backing up) the macro file(s) before opening them in Keyboard Express 4.
