Special Formats

Certain keys cannot be entered directly into Keyboard Express. Therefore "Special Formats" have been assigned these keys. Either type these formats in directly or use the associated buttons to place the special format in the edit box. The special keys and formats are as follows:

Special options are available for the Date and Time.
Special options are also available for using Delays and Pauses.
Other special options are available for Symbols, Sound, Window Activation, and Repeats.

Note: Use of the <ALT> key does not always work properly for activating menu commands. (Example: "<ALT>f " for activating the file menu command) If a menu command does not appear to work or to ensure that a menu command will always work, use <ALT> twice (Example: "<ALT><ALT>f"). Two <ALT>s in a row is the same as pressing and releasing the ALT key which will activate the menu.
