It is possible for other programs which are run after Keyboard Express to improperly install themselves into the system wide Windows keyboard hooks. This causes Keyboard Express to no longer be able to monitor keystrokes. Keyboard Express monitors keystrokes in order to know when a key combination should activate a macro or to allow the keystrokes to pass through as typed.
This command reinstalls the Windows keyboard hooks used by Keyboard Express while the macro is running so that Keyboard Express will have the first look at the keystrokes and be able to monitor them again.
To insert this command into the macro, double click on Reset Keyboard Hooks from the list of commands in the Editor window. The action, <RESET HOOKS/>, is inserted directly into the macro script. There is no window associated with this command.
